The secret

Mystery of Jesus' loveChristianity is currently celebrating Christmas, the birth of Jesus Christ. Jesus came to earth as the Son of God to live as both God and man at the same time. He was sent by His Father to save people from sin and death. Every point in this list bears witness to the fact that God's eternal way of life, love, the incarnation of Jesus, his words and deeds - are a mystery that can only be revealed by God's Holy Spirit and understood thanks to him.
Jesus' conception by the Holy Spirit, his birth by Mary and in the company of Joseph are mysteries. As we consider the time in which Jesus proclaimed the gospel of God, we are increasingly drawn to the mystery spoken of here—Jesus Christ.

The apostle Paul expresses it this way: "I have become a minister of the church through the commission that God has given me for you, to preach the word of God in its fullness, namely the mystery that has been hidden from time immemorial and from time immemorial but it is revealed to his saints. To them God wanted to make known what is the glorious riches of this mystery among the nations, namely Christ in you, the hope of glory" (Colossians 1,25-27).

Christ in you gives shape to this mystery. Jesus in you is the divine gift. For those who do not recognize the value of Jesus, he remains a hidden mystery. However, for those who recognize him as their Redeemer and Savior, he is the shining light in the darkness: "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name" (John 1,12).

God's work in creating man Adam in his own image was very good. During the time that Adam lived in a living relationship with his Creator, God's Spirit worked all good things with him. When Adam chose his own independence against God on his own initiative, he immediately lost his true humanity and later his life.

Isaiah proclaimed salvation to all the people of Israel and to humanity: "Behold, a virgin is with child and will bear a son, and she will call his name Immanuel" (Isaiah 7,14). Jesus came into this world as “God with us”. Jesus walked the path from the manger to the cross.

From his first breath in the manger to his last on Calvary, Jesus walked the path of self-sacrifice to save those who trust in him. The profound mystery of Christmas is that Jesus not only was born, but also offers believers to be born again through the Holy Spirit. This incomparable gift is open to anyone who wishes to accept it. Have you already accepted this deepest expression of divine love into your heart?
