God's love

God's loveThe spring flowers have stretched vigorously and yet gently and are holding their heads towards the warm sunlight. Unique is our Creator who exercises all love and power over the visible and invisible. When we look at and become aware of this truth, we are amazed. There are some things we can explain humanly, but there are things we cannot understand without the Holy Spirit.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that all who believe in him should not perish but have eternal life" (John 3,16).

God's love, that is his essence, penetrates to us humans, even if we want to resist it in our hard-heartedness. Similar to flowers, we consciously or unconsciously have a deep longing for warmth and light in the dark earthly realm. That is why our heads and hearts stretch towards our Creator God, from whom we can receive his love, his light and life.

God's generous offer of divine love affects you and me personally, but at the same time also all people on earth. No person is excluded from God's love, but everyone is blessed with God's love. Unfortunately, many people still ignore God or even pull out all the stops to fight against his wonderful offer of love. This is very sad and unfortunate, because the love he wants to give us is his beloved Son, Jesus. It is not possible to receive a larger gift. Just as the Father loves His Son Jesus, He loves you and me. Let us entrust ourselves together to God, his word and his immeasurable love. Jesus came into a world that is in trouble today as then. He lived among us, and even more so, he gave his life on the cross out of love for us.

Many people assume that our life is finally over when we die. But Jesus told us: “I am the resurrection and the life” (John 11,25). That's why I decided to believe in Jesus and his words. I now live with Jesus and put my faith and trust in him. Through my faith, given to me by God, I live my new life in an everlasting relationship with the Father and Son of God. I also received this eternal relationship as a gift. It does not end with my death, but will be revived by Jesus when he returns in the resurrection with a resurrection body with which I will live eternally in his presence.

In his love, Jesus offered this relationship, eternal life and resurrection not only to me, but to you and to all people who gratefully accept God's love.
